Inspired by amoi-builds and built on their original Daily Red project. Every battle uses the Pokémon FireRed engine, with Gen III moves, abilities, and battle rules.
Daily Red shares Wordle's daily challenge idea: everyone gets the same challenge on the same calendar date. Here, you battle RED with six random level 100 Pokémon from Generations I–III. There are no words or Pokémon names to guess.
Press Play, then open the menu to check your team's moves and reorder your party. Walk up the mountain and talk to RED to begin. You get one daily battle; leaving or refreshing after it starts counts as a loss.
A new team unlocks at midnight in your local time zone. Everyone playing on the same calendar date receives the same team. Win or lose, you can return tomorrow for a fresh challenge.
Yes. Use the touch controls on a phone or tablet, or your keyboard on desktop. Wins, losses, and streaks are saved in this browser. They do not sync between devices, and clearing site data resets them.
